On February 1, 2023, the Foundation was contacted by the Director of the St Anne Community Outreach program asking for assistance with replacing two antiquated stove and oven units which were malfunctioning and beyong repair. This was preventing the program’s food pantry from providing cooked meals to their clients. A grant application was made on the Foundation’s Grant portal https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=alexef and after staff and Board review and approval a grant for $8,500 was made on February 8th. St Anne’s Community Outreach was able to work with their vendor and the new units were installed and running on Tuesday, the 13th.
